The University of Missouri-Columbia (MU) is a Charter Member of the Internet 2 initiative. We are working closely with other local, regional, and national Internet 2 institutions to help create both the infrastructure and applications necessary to continue the development of the Internet.
MU is participating in the very high speed backbone network (vBNS) connections grant program from NSF. Information on this program and the vBNS award to MU is presented on this page.
